Alice Schivardi | THE GALLERY APART(1000 reads)
Equazione uno | 10 May - 28 Jul 2012
One equation, the last complex project of Alice Schivardi, her first solo show in Rome.
One equation comes from a location of meetings and a process of trust and confidence that has convinced six different people, by age, sex and personal history, to open doors remained closed for a long time, and donate to the artist to tell the stories of six real life, recorded on magnetic tape.
Dramatic stories, butanonymous, did not intend to provoke the audience, but rather to educate them on a plane listening to many.
This operation allows you to collect every single history or experience them all together as an experience auditory and sensory over all, made up of words that overlap with sounds that accompany them.
The six stories, joining and playing together, weave a relationship between word and sound. But closer to each speaker, the visitor can distinguish words that are going on and listen to stories and sounds.
These are six different sounds sinusoidal, six pure sounds that have the feature to create and shape sounds perfect, creating an illusion acoustic echo before it becomes a voice of their own.
As in the physical mode of propagation of sound waves is expressed through equations, Schivardi coined the term to refer it to the set of Equation A sound vibrations made by the combination of narrative voices and sounds pure.
