Gallina | Rome Gallery Tours
A series of over twenty sculptures of lead. Installed as if they were real "clothes", suspended on rods of steel along the tunnel or on the walls. 




The sculptures are made of different materialsin each jackets and trousers for work, on which are carved symbols that recall the nature , hope and life as dominant elements, but also marks dishonorable as the yellow star, which was sewn on the clothing of the Jews under the Nazis, or the representation of the railroad tracks that led them to death. 

Gallina arises therefore constantly on the ridge between the highestrepresentation of human feelings and the unspeakable, the actions that led the man to nolonger be recognized as such. All this is done by the artist with a purpose: always ask what the real duty of memory.

Six artists are summoned up to show their skills in ‘beheading’: by representing heads, artists put on stage their outstanding way to ‘decapitate’ the human figure.
