Vittorio Corsini | GIACOMO GUIDI ARTE CONTEMPORANEA(494 reads)LA COSTOLA DELLE COSE | 6 Dec - 29 Feb 2012 curated by Ludovico Pratesi
Designed specifically for the space, the exhibition brings together a series of paintings on acrylic sheets, which include a series of works begun in 1989. It is characterized by monochrome pastel colors, from pink to blue to white, which are on one side a neon light, which gives colors a shade Specifically, making sparse and almost evanescent.
One way to approach these works to the culture of the monochrome, in a line of continuity that proceeds by Yves Klein and Lucio Fontana to get to Gerhard Merz, Imi Knoebel and Ettore Spalletti, to trace the evolution of a painting enriched by sensitive attention to the relationship between work and architectural space of the matrix that spans the entireresearch Corsini.
Along with the paintings the artist has a transparent sculpture, in a kind of conversation whispered between color and matter, which gives the size of exhibition space the whole atmosphere intimate and essential, suggesting a possible reflection of nature poetry of our everyday life, a moment of meditation to be isolated from the continuous flow of imagesconstantly invading our lives. This silent presence and essential relateda deep awareness and underground is, by Vittorio Corsini, the rib of things.
